Cows and horses are an important part of the landscape at Rock Lake. Rock Lake Ranch raises grass-fed angus cattle for beef production. Although not organically certified, we do not give our cows any hormones and offer them a rich diet of Tifton grass and hay for a healthier, natural life.
You also might spot a longhorn cow or two and the mustang horses that roam freely on the wooded acreage. The mustang horses are rescue horses that we allow to live out the rest of their lives freely and healthily among native grasses and woods.
