Our Team
Michael Geffert, Partner – Mike oversees all of the ranch operations. He is the Managing Partner of Greystone Oil & Gas, LLP in Houston. Mike also enjoys beekeeping and looks after the honey hives on the ranch. Mike holds a MS degree in Geology from Stephen F. Austin University. He serves on the board of the Sam Houston Area Council of Boy Scouts of America, and is a member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association.
Annette Geffert, Partner- Annette’s family has owned the ranch property for three generations. She oversees ranch events and property management. Annette enjoys writing in her spare time and is a published author with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She is a member of the Houston Junior League and the Heritage Trails Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Jerry Wagnon, Operations Manager – Jerry manages the events sector of the ranch and is integral part of the day to day happenings at the ranch. Often, he is the first friendly face that greets you when you visit. Jerry has an extensive background in administrative and retail management and holds an MBA from the Mays Business School at Texas A & M University. He is a member of the Century Club, Texas A & M Association of Former Students.
David Williams, Ranch Foreman – David is a certified welder and electrician and brings many years of ranch managing experience to Rock Lake Ranch. He oversees all cattle and other ranching operations.
Greg Geffert, Apiarist – Greg oversees Rock Lake Ranch Apiaries, managing honey and beekeeping operations for the ranch. He enjoys flying and is a licensed pilot. Greg holds a BS degree in Aeronautics with a minor in Meteorology from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
Juan and Mirella Hernandez- This husband and wife housekeeping team takes great pride to see that Rock Lake Ranch always looks its best both inside and out.
Bob Ruth, Landscape Architect – Bob is our expert landscape designer from The Land Design Group. Bob seamlessly blends the essential and practical without disturbing the gorgeous, natural elements to achieve an unobtrusive, clean appeal for the ranch. As we grow, Bob continues to work with us to maintain this vision for the ranch.
Kirby Tracy, Owner Grassroots, College Station, TX – Kirby’s hard working team maintains the grounds and landscaping for the ranch.
Charlie Burris, AIA, Arkitex Studios, Bryan, TX – Charlie and the team of design professionals at Arkitex Studios are developing an expansion of our facilities which will integrate with the existing structures while maintaining the natural beauty of Rock Lake Ranch.
